I am deeply honoured and humbled to receive the Nation Pride Award. I accept this recognition with immense gratitude and a profound sense of responsibility.
As a cardiologist, my journey has always been guided by one simple belief—that every heartbeat matters. Medicine, to me, is not merely a profession, but a lifelong commitment to service, compassion, and ethical practice.
This honour is not mine alone. I share it with my teachers who shaped my values, my colleagues and healthcare teams who stand beside me every day, and my patients, who place their trust in us at their most vulnerable moments. I am also deeply grateful to my family, whose unwavering support has been my strongest foundation.
India’s strength lies in its dedication to service and excellence. This award reinforces my resolve to continue contributing to preventive cardiology, patient education, and accessible healthcare for our society.
I thank the organisers for this recognition and reaffirm my commitment to serve the nation with integrity, humility, and devotion.
