We are proud to share the remarkable journey of a 127 kg high-risk expectant mother, who safely delivered her baby despite facing multiple complications. She was presented with pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH), gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), hypothyroidism, obesity (BMI > 35), and a single loop of cord around the baby’s neck.

The delivery was conducted under the expert care of Dr. Shailly Sharma at Cloudnine Hospital, Faridabad, where close monitoring and individualised management were ensured at every step. Despite the complexity, the mother delivered normally and safely, with both mother and baby healthy at birth.
