WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COLD-PRESSED OIL AND COLD-PROCESSED OIL?
COLD-PRESSED OIL is extracted using low heat, kept at about 450 degrees Fahrenheit (approx. 232 degrees Celsius). Companies prefer using cold-pressed technology because the yields are higher when the heat is applied. However, the resulting oil is less pure than virgin coconut oil from cold-processed methods.
However using the COLD-PROCESSED method allows all the anti-oxidants and nutrients to be retained. You can read more about it in the article linked below.
We, at Mysti Coco - Coconut Milk Oil, use the CENTRIFUGED COLD-PROCESSED METHOD to extract our virgin oil. Fresh coconut meat is turned into coconut milk. This milk is spun at a high speed in a centrifugal extractor allowing the oil to be separated from the milk. The procedure is delicate and raw oil is extracted with most of its antioxidants and nutrients retained, providing the best for our customers.
Virgin Coconut milk oil has numerous benefits, include it in your life as a staple essential and observe the way your life improves!

Coconut oil, whether it is cold-pressed or cold-processed, is not as healthy as some trends would have you believe. Although virgin coconut oil is 'better' in terms of purity, it's still important to understand the different processes, uses, and benefits of coconut oil.
