On June 17, 2025, the Indian OI community came together at IGICH, Bangalore to celebrate Wishbone Day, a global movement that shines a light on OI and the strength of those living with it.
From heartfelt conversations to moments of joy and connection, this celebration was a testament to the resilience and unity of the OI community. We continue to raise awareness, foster inclusivity, and empower lives.

The Indian Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation ( ) proudly participated today in the 10th edition of Racefor7, standing strong for the rare disease community!

With determination and spirit, our team walked and rolled together, raising awareness for Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) and other rare conditions. Every step we took symbolized resilience, hope, and the power of community.

A huge thank you to (Organization for Rare Diseases India) for organizing this impactful event which had a huge participation from the general public and to all our supporters who joined us. Let’s continue to spread awareness, advocate for better healthcare, and ensure that every individual with a rare disease is heard!

Rare Disease Day is observed every year on the last day of February (February 28th or 29th in a Leap Year) to spread awareness and support those affected by rare diseases.

On Sunday, February 23, 2025, (Organization for Rare Diseases India) is organizing an awareness run/walk across 21 cities. The Indian OI Foundation is proud to take part in this.
