Initially I thought they were whiskered terns, and then checking on Merlin found that these were black bellied plovers. And I was super excited to know that these birds would have travelled over 9600 kms from the Arctic Tundra to reach Navi Mumbai wetlands .
Plovers feed on the shores and the wetlands and the inter tidal lakes provide the necessary nutrition.
A must to protect these wetlands if we need to see these birds every year .

Parwali’s cub growing beautifully into adulthood, as it starts to lay siege on the vacancy of the grassland male tiger in Dhikala, Corbett. Today morning as I exited the gates of the Forest rest house the tiger walked in at the crossing and walked alongside the Suzuki Gypsy . Fuji Xh2s, Fuji 150-600 . The Forest always surprises you when you least expect , nature has too many things to savour at the soul level every minute if one wishes .

Life has moments which makes you reflect everyday, this is one moment for me .. that day in Jan 2020 before the pandemic unveiled.
Aakhir kya chahte ho ?
What is it you truly desire, in the end?
So when our vehicle pulled up to fill up gas, the tempo in front had this florist sleeping away peacefully . He could have slept anywhere in that space but yet he chose to sleep in the lap of the Divine .

So many layers of interpretation each one can make from each one’s point of view that maybe will spark the journey to know the true inner self .
Today if you wish to go deeper into the layers of your own consciousness .. join in with Adi Maitreyaji’s meditation at 8 pm IST online . Link in the bio

He reminded me of Jimmy my alsatian way back in kindergarten. But then I was looking directly at the breed from where the german shepherds and I looked deep to find my Jimmy in it.
He sat still while the rest of the pack fed on the carcass of a dead buffalo which the villagers would leave behind for the wolves. Could be the alpha male i thought.
The pack would chase the ravens who would come to pick on tiny morsels but when the local dogs arrive on the scene, the wolves would leave and return later.

Amongst the many connections in the wild are the ones when you lock your eyes with the animals or birds and you communicate in a language beyond the words.
Each gaze each other and in its curiosity the checking out is palpable.
But then in that very moment, the thought, the emotion of the racing heart allows the connection to be beyond the wonder.
In the morning glow, for that moment I thought the wolf actually posed in this studio like setting and looked intently at the funny human with a long pinnochio nose ( tele lens :)) And there you have a wolf who you would almost take home with a song on your lips …Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy aa ja ( that was so corny!)

The briefing - Class gather up, Now that you have become colourful adults, today we will be flying to New York. We do not need passports or visas.
In all your eagerness try not to bump into each other while you are flying and watch out for those large noisy metallic birds. Do not panic, do not get into an identity crisis, just sing “I am like a Bird' and maintain your flight path. They will probably see you and swerve away.
And yes you can shop as much as you want in New York and we may stop over in the Carribeans to visit your cousins and ask them where they get their flush reds.
Whenever we have to land, keep in mind your designated parking spaces are yours and there is no need to pick a fight or show your pecking order. There is enough and more space for each one.
Ok enough of the pep talk, remember no loo breaks or snacking mid flight. Check your wings, fasten your seat belts and strut those graceful necks of yours. coz we are flying…

Before take off large groups await instructions from leaders. The batch leaders like class monitors…go through the ranks and kind of prep the group. The leader of the group doesnt give much of a choice nor is it a democratic setup. Either you fly or you are left out. 10/10 its definitely the fomo driving the birds :) But its worth watching thousands taking off into the skies in a seemingly orderly fashion.

📸🐾 Corbett is truly a living canvas. The magical grasslands kissed by the soft winter light set the stage for a regal tiger basking in its glory. Each moment felt like a brushstroke in nature's masterpiece, deserving of a place on the wall as fine art. 🌿🎨

Here's to celebrating the essence of nature and the majestic beauty that inspires us all.

I had the chance to work on the magical photographs of wildlife photographer Vinoth , and to live the moments of what he sensed, though I have never been to Corbett !

Hopefully one day I will get a chance to paint with the camera soon at Corbett.

Good work Vinoth! Thanks for letting me work on your images.
🌟✨

When I am shooting I am connecting deeper into the deeper areas of the individual consciousness, helping them unearth imagery that will help them evolve.

Each of my photo session is an experience in subtle energies allowing the release and healing of the self .
What now people have come to call it as ‘therapeutic photography’ . Many call it as a cleansing and spiritual process as if they were taken to another time frame .
After the photo session I disconnect for a week and then re visit the images . I am guided to select images which matter for the person or family or the pet .
Working on an image can take hours to days sometimes because it starts taking and communicating back when connected .
Each image thus born becomes the guiding spirit and yantra for the person setting them on to a path which can be tread with a spring in their steps in their lives ahead.
Each of these prints are kept as a wall hanging because they have been divined upon.

This blessed w way of connecting, sensing and knowing is but the Divine blessing and the grace over two decades of practising deep meditations on Energy , Matter & Consciousness as taught by Shri Maitreya ji to whom I am continuously in gratitude and always in awe of the Divine teachings of the Light .
Here are some images shot during a session in 2017, in Bangalore at Taras studio
