Each time I try to find my peace
Through yoga's flow and gentle ease
My mind, a whirlwind of chaos and strife
Makes it hard to find that calm in life

But still, I breathe and stretch and try
To let go of what makes me sigh
To be present in the here and now
And release the worries that weigh me down

I find serenity in each pose
And as my body starts to compose
I feel a happiness deep within
A sense of joy, a newfound grin

For in yoga, I can be me
And let my true self finally free
To be present, to let go, to find my way
To a more peaceful, contented day
