Adolescent Health Academy of Indian Academy of Pediatrics is a forum constituted by the pediatric medical practitioners of India. It has been a long standing need to take care of the adolescent population of India aging between 12 an 19 and no specialized medical courses or studies have been included in the specialized medical curriculum in India. The chapter and its members have b
een trying to take care of the huge population in India those fall between the age of childhood and adult. Opening up a new specialized Post Graduate course in Medical Study curriculum is another aim of the Chapter. Medical Education on adolescence. Bring around more pediatricians in adolescent treatment. Opening up a new subject adolescence in pediatric science which did not exist in Indian medical practice.
