Usually people avoid visiting dentist until they are in pain. Other reason being long, multiple and painful appointments. But with new advances in dentistry, we at our centre - Bhagyoday Dental Clinic, are able to provide best possible treatment to our patients in single/few visits with minimal pain.

Heres a case of a young boy who came with the chief complaint of pain in his front teeth. He had a history of fall leading to trauma 5 yrs back. After clinical examination and on radiograph, a huge periapical lesion with bone resorption was seen for which we planned Root Canat Treatment and complete surgical removal of the cystic lesion under local anesthesia. The entire procedure was completed in just single sitting.

After 6 months we took a followup radiograph which showed complete bony healing without any bone graft.

Narrative and the Flipside to the story .....📝

📌Girl just of 21 years with a huge swelling in chin area was referred to our center......
I felt myself lucky 🎊to get this kind of a difficult case to use my surgical skills to the most...... I took it as a challenge....🤝

And what was the challenge?❓❓

21 years old girl 👩‍⚖️
*Dentigerous cyst* with 33 and 73💥
*4cm × 3cm* dimensions
*Huge lesion* 🕳️
Lower border of mandible *1mm* thickness left
Lingual cortical plate *1mm* left no buccal bone left
*Chances of pathologic fracture* ...⚒️

But ...
Kahani mein twist.....🧬
Haemoglobin *7.1* .....,,🩸

Friends that is why all investigations 💡are so very important.....cbct , blood investigation etc before any operative procedure.

Waited for few days until the haemoglobin got raised to 10.4 with IV haematenics . 👍

The D day of surgery arrived...The complete procedure of single sitting rct of 32 and 34 along with extraction both decidious canine (73) + impacted permanent canine (33) and enucleation under *local anaesthesia* was performed with utmost care and following surgical protocols 💉⚒️

The happy ending of the story.....🎊🎊

अपघातात एका युवकाने आपल्या वरील जबड्याचे समोरचे पाच दात गमविले. ज्यामुळे त्याचा चेहरा विद्रूप दिसू लागला होता.
त्याचे दात पूर्ववत करण्यासाठी आम्ही, नैसर्गिक दिसणारा सिरॅमिक ब्रिज बसविला.
त्याच्या दातांची ठेवण पुर्ववत करण्याचा आमचा छोटासा प्रयत्न........

रस्त्यावरील अपघात एका पेशंटचा जबडा दोन ठिकाणी फॅक्चर झालेला होता . त्यामुळे त्याला तोंड पूर्णपणे बंद करता येत नव्हते व खाता येत नव्हते. ऑपरेशन करून त्याच्या जबडया मध्ये उच्च प्रतीच्या टायटेनियम प्लेट टाकून जबडा फिक्स करण्यात आला.
पेशंट काही दिवसातच बरा होऊन आपल्या जबड्याची पूर्ववत हालचाल करू लागला .
