Seminar on Conservation, Cultivation, and Entrepreneurship Development in Medicinal Plants
Baramulla, August 11, 2025: Under the directions of Director Ayush Jk Dr Nuzhat Bashir Shah, and DAO Baramulla Dr Raja Amjad Ali, AYUSH Baramulla in collaboration with Seed Multiplication Centre, Tapper Pattan, Baramulla, today hosted a seminar on "Conservation, Cultivation, and Entrepreneurship Development in Medicinal Plants." The event aimed to promote sustainable practices, entrepreneurship, and economic growth in the region through the cultivation and utilization of medicinal plants.
The seminar brought together experts, farmers, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders to discuss the potential of medicinal plants in the region. Key topics covered included:
1. Conservation and sustainable harvesting practices
2. Cultivation techniques and best practices
3. Market trends and opportunities for medicinal plants
4. Entrepreneurship development and value addition
