Navratri Diet Tips -

1. Follow a Satvik Diet- Eat foods that are simple,fresh & easy to digest.This includes fruits, vegetables,milk & some types of grains like Buckwheat(kuttu) & Amarnath(rajgira). Avoid processed,fried and spicy foods.
2. Stay Hydrated - Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins. You can also take detox drinks like coconut water,lemon water or herbal teas like ginger, tulsi or mint.
3. Fasting - Fasting during Navratri gives your digestive system a break. Opt for light meals & avoid overeating during meals you consume.
4. Include detoxifying foods- Fruits like apples, papayas and pomegranates are good for detox and easily available now in these days.
- Vegetables like Pumpkin, Lauki, Spinach & Sweet potatoes provide essential nutrients.
- Herbs & Spices- Use cumin seeds, Coriander seeds, Turmeric & ginger because they have detoxifying properties
5. Practice Yoga & Meditation - Do breathing exercises like Pranayam to help detoxify both the body and mind also. Meditation can also helps to reduce stress
6. Avoid sugar & caffeine.

It's a good source of protein & fiber which helps with satiety & is relatively low in calories 🥦🧂🫑🫛
It is also good in diabetes
