After a complex trauma resulting in a severe Grade IIIB Tibia Fracture, successfully completed a major reconstructive step today.

utilized a sophisticated technique called the Posterior Tibial Artery Propeller Flap to bring in vital, healthy tissue and cover the damaged area. Think of it as a custom-designed patch, nourished by its own blood vessel, rotated into place! The donor site was expertly closed with a skin graft (STSG).

This procedure is a game-changer for high-energy injuries, giving the bone the best chance to heal. Every successful flap transfer is a victory in the fight for limb function and recovery.
