A truly unprecedented and humbling experience for me, as I had the honour—along with Dr. Baser—to conduct the entire Workshop on Lasers in Proctology, organised by the senior faculty of IPGMER, Kolkata, under the aegis of AMASI & ASI.

I had the privilege to speak on three topics including , Dr Chivate’s Haemorrhoidopexy , the strong contender for the Gold standard procedure for Haemorrhoids and demonstrated three live surgeries during the operative workshop, all in front of a houseful auditorium of enthusiastic surgeons.

Conducting a live surgical workshop in a reputed medical college of Kolkata felt like going back to college days. Though I’m not an alumnus of IPGMER, the vibrant academic atmosphere brought back fond memories and a deep sense of belonging.

Grateful to the organisers, in particular Dr Pranab Mandal,Dr Abhimanyu Basu, Dr Rahul Biswas,Dr ML Saha,Dr Rinki Das and many more for the honour and their warm hospitality .

Just got back home, carrying a suitcase full of unforgettable memories from the recently concluded WorldCon – the international conference of proctologists held in the beautiful city of Kochi, Kerala, India. 🇮🇳🌴

Grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with some of the best minds in the field. The orations by Dr. Prashant Rahate, Dr. Palanivelu, and Dr. Vikrant Kate were nothing short of brilliant – a masterclass in clinical wisdom and surgical finesse.But the highlight for me? A soul-touching session by Dr. Roy Patankar on "Coping with Failure".

And an inspiring talk by Dr Pankaj garg on " :Anything done with Passion becomes an art« wasn’t just a talk – it was a life lesson that will stay with me forever. 💫

Humbled, inspired, and recharged. Onwards and upwards! 🙌

Feel very priveleged as was bestowed to deliver a talk on the “Skill Enhancement for the Haemorrhoid Surgeon”, which was well received by colleagues and junior surgeons.

Participated in a structured debate on "Flap Surgery vs Laser Surgery for Pilonidal Sinus,: presenting arguments in favor of the flap technique against Dr. Baser.
