Poornatvam A seek to remind us of our completeness

Movement is a medium for feeling and sensing all that the body is holding and trying to express. We aren't moving to become something but to be, to be in a state of awareness of all that is.

Awareness is the medium through which we experience this flow within our bodies.

Awareness or Chaitanyam is the divine consciousness pulsating at the background of all moves and shifts in life. It's nature is pure, joyful and expansive.

Embodied Yoga is a practice that merges awareness and experience. Opening the door for us to understand the freedom and vastness inherent in our true nature.

Join us for a workshop of Embodied Yoga next Sunday at Haralur Road.

Simply saying I am not the mind isn't a path to peace. It can rather become a suppression.

One needs to recognise what's happening under the surface 🌊

Until you look at your weaknesses in the eye they generally don't leave the control they have on you

Even with prayers God can sometimes only show you your weaknesses and work beyond is your own

Yogic practices can lead us to a state of deep focus for brief or large periods. However, an intensely focussed mind can even cause harm. Hence understanding and reevaluating our goals with practice at different stages can help redirect this energy in a conducive way.
It is important to reflect on our goals from the lens of the first two limbs of yoga - yamas and niyamas. Do our goals work with or against our core values, do they bring harmony or disturbance in our environment.
A mind cleared of distractions doesn't need to go fetching, it just becomes a medium to reflect the innate qualities of Atman - peace, love, wisdom, it is an open connection to the divine.
One should avoid relinquishing ones allocated responsibilities to achieve temporary states of mind. And continue to act in the world as per the karmas assigned to them as this helps them understand their own values and the impact of their actions on others and themselves. Knowing this, one can learn to keep a focussed mind not just for a few minutes after the practise, or because a teacher or book said so. But because the mind is naturally strong and resides in the self now.

Namaste 🙏🏼

This one and a half hour workshop on Embodying the breath is now available as a recording.

In this class we joyfully embody the breathing body through movements,
asanas and settle down into its natural currents with pranayama.

We explore breath as a means to come home to the body. Finding an intimate
connection with our breath such that being with the breath becomes an embrace
to the body.

My intention with my yoga classes is to bring our attention to what's happening and become resilient towards and joyfully present to life.

🌸Online Classes with Poornatvam🌸

My journey with Yoga has made me understand. It is a journey to arrive into one's higher self. And abide in it through the changing sometimes challenging situations of life.

To familiarise with this aspect of us we work with the body through yoga asanas, we befriend the energy body through pranayama and develop the quality of silence in mind through meditation.

This comes through the process of developing a balanced approach in all aspects of our life.

If you resonate with my purpose connect with me.

Limited slots.

Harih Om 🙏🏻
