Institution Innovation Council(IIC) and The Department of Mathematics, Lakshmi Narain College of Technology Excellence (LNCTE), Bhopal, celebrated National Youth Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the great philosopher, spiritual leader, and youth icon of India. The celebration aimed to inspire students to recognize their inner strength, develop self-confidence, and contribute meaningfully to society. The theme emphasized the importance of self-awareness, self-discipline, and inner motivation as the foundation for bringing positive change to the world.
The program commenced with a brief and insightful introduction by Dr. Sushma Jat, Head of the Department of Mathematics, LNCTE, who highlighted the significance of National Youth Day and emphasized the enduring relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings in modern times. Dr. A. K. Saxena, Principal, LNCTE encouraged students to embody the values of discipline, self-confidence, and dedication in order to contribute meaningfully to society and the nation.
The keynote motivational talk was delivered by Dr. Neena Gupta, who addressed the students with great enthusiasm and insight. In her address, she highlighted:
• The importance of self-belief and inner awakening
• The role of youth in nation-building
• The power of determination, discipline, and perseverance
• The relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s message in today’s competitive world
Dr. Neena Gupta encouraged students to channel their energy into constructive goals and to strive for excellence in academics, innovation, and character development. During her talk, she recited a powerful self-composed poetry titled “स्वयं को प्रज्वलित करो”, which deeply inspired the audience. The poem beautifully conveyed the message of inner strength, confidence, and the transformative power of self-motivation. Adding further inspiration to the event, Professor Kalpita Malviya recited an impactful poem dedicated to the youth. Her poetry emphasized courage, determination, and the limitless potential of young minds.
