⚠️ Rabies Awareness for Parents

Rabies is a serious viral infection that spreads through the bite or scratch of an infected animal, most commonly dogs. Once symptoms appear, the disease can be life-threatening.

The most important thing to remember: Rabies is completely preventable with timely medical care and vaccination.

👶 What parents should do if a child is bitten or scratched:
✔️ Wash the wound immediately with soap and running water for at least 15 minutes
✔️ Apply an antiseptic if available
✔️ Seek medical help without delay
✔️ Complete the rabies vaccination course as advised by the doctor
