I.D.A., Gaya Branch

A Continuing Medical Education (CME) program on Oral Cancer Awareness was organized by the I.D.A., Gaya Branch at Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital.
The CME was co-powered by Jay Prabha Medanta Super Specialty Hospital, Patna.

The session was delivered by Dr. Akansha Bajpai, who provided highly informative insights on biopsy in oral cavity cancer. Her presentation was well appreciated by all the members.

IDA Gaya Branch Seminar Update | 12 January 2026

On 12 January 2026, a scientific seminar was successfully organized for the IDA Gaya Branch, sponsored by Mankind Pharma, at Hotel Vishnu Vihar, Gaya.

The academic session featured an insightful dental case discussion by Dr. Jyoti (Orthodontist), which was highly informative and well appreciated by the members.

On this occasion, the IDA Gaya Branch also organized the farewell of former President Dr. Rafat Sultana and extended a warm welcome to the new President, Dr. Rajnish.

Dr. Karunesh Krishna continues as Secretary, and Dr. Tejaswi Singh continues as Treasurer of the IDA Gaya Branch. Several other members were also selected for various posts.

The seminar concluded successfully with a dinner, fostering professional interaction.

A night to remember as the doctors of the Indian Dental Association, Gaya branch come together to bid adeiu to the very special year 2025 and welcome 2026 with fun, games, songs… what a spectacular evening!!!

The association office bearers President Dr Rafat Sultana, Secretary Dr Karunesh Krishna and treasurer Dr Tejaswi Singh left no stones unturned to make the gala event a huge success.

The senior members Dr Sanjeev singh, Dr Abhishek Mrinal, Dr Gagan Kumar, Dr Fahad Siddiqui, Dr Devika Saryar, Dr Shakeb, Dr Rajnish Kumar ,Dr Dharmendra along with the other members welcomed the newly joined members to the group!

Informative CME on Space Infections organised by GSK Pharma for the members of IDA Gaya.

On the occasion of Doctors Day the Indian Dental Association Gaya branch organised a dental and health check up camp in SEWA KUTIR ( DISTRICT SOCIAL SECURITY CELL). Dental and general health check up was done and awareness advice was given to inmates. Medicine and oral care kit was also distributed amongst them. The camp was conducted by Dr K.S noor , Dr Sanjeev kumar, Dr Abhishek Mrinal, Dr Shriya and Dr Varsha. General health check up was done by Dr B.D Sharma.
ADM Sushri Aaroop appriciated the initiative taken by IDA Gaya Br and promised for more frequent programmes like this in future.
The Doctors too praised the smooth management and hygienic environment of the center.
