Today’s seminar with little champs under the age of 10 was all about building strong foundations for a healthy future! 💪
We learned:
🥤 Why drinking water from a steel bottle is a better and safer choice
🍎 The power of natural, wholesome foods
🚫 And why we should say NO to breads, refined, packed, and processed foods

As a dietitian, I truly feel concerned when I see how, unknowingly, many parents are introducing their children to chocolates, packaged snacks, and plastic bottles—without realizing the long-term impact on their child’s health.

🧠 The foundation of physical and mental health begins in childhood. What we feed them today shapes their tomorrow. Processed foods, artificial sugars, and chemicals not only affect digestion but also influence mood, behavior, and focus.

✨ It’s high time we guide parents to make conscious food choices, encourage healthy eating habits, and help children grow up with a love for real, nourishing food.

🍪✨ Chewy Oats Cookies Recipe – Easy, Healthy & Delicious! ✨🍪
Baked a batch of my favorite homemade oats cookies and had to share the magic! These are soft, chewy, and just the right amount of sweet — perfect with your evening chai or a coffee break. ☕💛

Here’s the full recipe ⬇️
📋 Ingredients:
• 60gm rolled oats
• 1 cup oats flour
• 1 cup makhana powder
• 1/4 tsp baking soda
• 1/4 tsp cinnamon
• ⁠1/4 tsp cacao powder
• 7 tsp melted butter/ ghee
• ⁠chopped nuts
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• 2–3 tbsp milk (only if needed to bind)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 170°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment.
2. In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients.
3. In another bowl, whisk wet ingredients.
4. Combine wet + dry; mix till you get a soft dough.
5. Scoop into small balls, flatten slightly, and place on tray.
6. Bake for 10–12 mins or until edges are golden.
7. Let cool (if you can wait!) and enjoy 🌟

She is a working professional and has a busy lifestyle which means little time for exercise or even to follow a strict diet routine.
Rajwinder was Concerned that She doesn’t want to look weak after following a diet regime. Adding to that She was suffering from Acidity, low energy and stubborn weight.
We started working with her and created a customized plan for her keeping in mind all these things. We gave her enough outside options too.
She is a vegetarian who loves eating food so we had to plan her diet considering her busy schedule and travelling. Even when She goes out, we planned her diet accordingly so that her weight loss journey is not impacted and She can still enjoy her social life.
Rajwinder has not only lost her inches tremendously but has regain her energy levels and resolved her gut issues and that too without any medication: visiting the gym. She followed the meal plans and went for 30 min walk.

Our kids are young they cannot always speak for what they feel. But that does not mean we do not listen.
For children with feeding issues, eating can be an uncomfortable and anxiety-producing experience.
They respond by rejecting food, crying or even spiting food.
What we sometimes interpret as being stubborn is them telling us that they do not have the right tools to deal with this. The job of parents are to equip them with the tools they need to deal with uncomfortable foods and situations. Finding out the root cause of picky eating is one big step in helping them in this direction.
This week let’s remember our tiny humans are only learning and they need our support, love, and guidance.
Gentle parenting around mealtimes is as important as it is at all other times. We need to listen and care for them. Don’t use phones as a distraction to feed them. Make them enjoy the mealtimes.
We forget that our job is not just to get our child to eat this one meal.  Our job is to raise our child into an individual who loves and respects food. Who knows what he needs to nourish his body. An adult who knows to stop when full. An adult who can eat food without fear, guilt, shame. Our job as parents is to set our child up for a lifetime of success!
So the next time your kid is refusing dinner, try and think about the bigger picture. Remember it does not matter what they eat in a single meal as long as you continue providing them with support and opportunities to learn, eat and thrive.
