I came across this image today, and it stayed with me.
One person asks,"How deep is it?"
The other replies,"It comes up to my neck."
Same water.
Same situation.
Very different realities.
And that's something we often forget in real life.
What feels manageable to one person can feel overwhelming to another.
What looks"small" from the outside may be someone else's breaking point.
What you call normal pressure might be someone else's silent struggle.
We're quick to judge because we see from our own height, our own experiences, our own emotional capacity. But sensitivity isn't weakness...it's
perspective shaped by personality, past, environment, and inner battles no one else can see.
Not everyone has the same depth, the same
thresholds, or the same way of processing pain, responsibility, or failure. And that doesn't make anyone less capable or less strong just human.
A little empathy goes a long way.
Before saying"it's not that deep",remember for someone else, it might already be up to their neck.
Sometimes understanding matters more than being right
