Just wondered how pore size of 0.3micron in N95 preventing 0.1micron size of corona virus scientists have found out that the mask is preventing the particles size even less than 0.1micron also effectively.

In this video I have explained about types of masks and it’s usage and effectiveness as per CDC recommendation.

1. Cloth mask :
*Use two layered easily breathable and made of cotton masks
*Use masks that blocks the light
*Avoid masks with exhalation valves and improper fittings and damaged masks

2.Disposable surgical mask:

*Made of three layers with spore size 0.3 to 10micron
*Not recommended for reusable
*Covid positive patients on self isolation and their care givers can use this

Effective - wear two masks with knot
Upper - cloth mask
Underneath- Disposable surgical mask

3.Respirator masks

*Explained ebout NIOSH and EN and GB certified masks
*N/R/P - 95/99/100 masks
