A report by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) revealed that the elderly in India will outnumber children aged 0 to 14 by 2046.

In fact, predictions show an even more startling trend. While Indiaโ€™s total population will increase by 18% from 2022 to 2050, its elderly population will jump 134%. To top it off, those aged 80 and above will see an even steeper rise of 279% at the same time.
