Will my va**na become very loose and flabby after a natural delivery?
The va**na is a highly elastic organ designed to expand during childbirth and naturally regain much of its shape and tone during recovery. However, the pressure exerted when the baby is emerging may cause some excessive stretching in some cases. In most cases, the body returns to normalcy within a year or two.
To support post-natal recovery, pelvic rehabilitation and post-natal exercises may be recommended. However, all of these are to be done only on the doctor’s advice. Moreover, if the person is seeing slow recovery even after a year, it is best to consult the doctor on next steps.

🩸 Why are blood thinners prescribed for diabetic patients?
Diabetes doesn’t just affect blood sugar — it impacts your entire circulatory system.
People with diabetes have a higher risk of developing blood clots, which can lead to serious complications like heart attack or stroke. This is because diabetes often causes changes in blood vessels and makes the blood "stickier," increasing the chance of clot formation.
To lower this risk, doctors may prescribe blood thinners that help keep blood flowing smoothly and prevent dangerous clots.
👉 Always take medications as prescribed, and talk to your doctor before starting or stopping any treatment.

Does IVF Always Lead to Twins? 🤔👶👶
Not necessarily! While IVF has a higher chance of multiple pregnancies, it’s not a guarantee.
🔹 In the past, two or more embryos were often transferred to improve chances of success.
🔹 Today, with advanced lab techniques, healthier embryos can thrive even with just one transferred.
🔹 Elective Single Embryo Transfer (eSET) offers similar success rates while reducing the risk of twins.
Why might multiple embryos still be used?
✔️ Age over 35
✔️ Multiple failed IVF attempts
✔️ Personalized medical advice
NOTE: Patients are always informed about the risks of twin pregnancies before opting for multiple embryo transfers, so speak to your doctor freely and raise all doubts when commencing the treatment.

How do doctors check for gestational diabetes?
The journey of monitoring gestational diabetes starts as soon as pregnancy is confirmed! 💉✨
Your obstetrician will first check your fasting blood sugar. If it's above 92, a low-carb, high-protein diet is started early to help stabilize sugar levels and support your baby's growth. 👶🥦
Even if all is normal in the first test, another check (the Glucose Tolerance Test) is done between 24–26 weeks. 📅 If results are borderline or high, doctors may recommend dietary changes or medication.
Early monitoring = healthy mom, healthy baby! ❤️👩‍⚕️
