Purpose:

v-shesh is an enterprise setup to deliver measureable social impact. v-shesh aims to develop and deliver effective educational, learning and job related support services for educated disadvantaged individuals. v-shesh services are for individuals who are un-served due to either their disability, or because they live in non-metros or due to their socio-economic status. Approach:

v-shesh bring learning and skill development services to un-served consumers in 3 segments (disabled, non-metro residents and from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds) with an enterprise like approach that focuses on effectiveness and efficiency. v-shesh’s efforts may take the form of developing new services within education, learning and skill development space, delivering a service differently or at locations where such services are not available.

This week at v-shesh was all about building awareness, celebrating inclusion, and creating impact

On National Sports Day, we hosted an awareness session at NIPMED on the Paralympics and Special Olympics.

At IndiaFirst Life, we sparked meaningful conversations through a Neurodiversity Sensitization session.

At EPL, we conducted Sign Language training to support inclusive communication with new Deaf colleagues.

With Pratham Education Foundation, our Deaf facilitator brought stories to life for students at Rochiram Thadani School for the Deaf, Mumbai.

Every year in September, v-shesh joins hands with Pratham as part of their nationwide reading program.

This year, our deaf facilitator Prashant brought a story session to life for students of Rochiram Thadani School for the Deaf, Mumbai making reading fun, visual, and inclusive.

At v-shesh, we believe that reading opens doors—and when done inclusively, it opens them for everyone.

We are proud to share that Sakshi, from the v-shesh team, has been honoured with the Tilu Rauteli State Award by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand.

Since Sakshi was competing at the Wheelchair Basketball National Tournament, her mother received the award on her behalf. At the tournament, Sakshi not only played as part of the winning Maharashtra team, but was also recognized as the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament.

We had the privilege of being a Knowledge Partner for the two-day Symposium on Inclusive Medicare & Wellness, organized by the University Inclusion & Accessibility Cell (UIAC-UTTHAAN), Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) on 28th & 29th August 2025 at their Dwarka campus.

As Knowledge Partners, we were proud to contribute through sessions led by team members Rashi and Vaishnavi , who covered:
✅ Mental Wellbeing
✅ Prosthetics & Assistive Technologies (AT) Solutions
✅ Neurodiversity
✅ Sensory Disabilities & Impairments

It was an incredible opportunity to share our knowledge, learn from diverse perspectives, and engage in meaningful conversations about accessible and inclusive healthcare for all. A big thank you to Prof. (Dr) Shalini Garg and the UIAC team for organizing such an insightful event and for their commitment to promoting inclusion in healthcare.

Events like these bring us closer to creating a world where healthcare is truly inclusive for persons with and without disabilities.
