Ever wondered why doctors stay silent during a pregnancy scan? 🤰

It’s because they are **carefully checking the baby’s development, measurements, placenta position and amniotic fluid.

That silence simply means they are concentrating to give you accurate results.

So don’t panic if the room goes quiet during a scan.

Did you know? 🤰
During pregnancy, your body creates a new organ called the placenta.

This organ supplies **oxygen, nutrients, hormones and immunity** to the baby — and removes waste too.

That’s why doctors always **monitor the placenta during scans** to ensure a healthy pregnancy.

AFI 6 cm during pregnancy?
First, take a deep breath. ❤️
AFI (Amniotic Fluid Index) measures the fluid around your baby.

Normal AFI usually ranges between 8–18 cm.
If your AFI is 6 cm, it is slightly on the lower side.

This condition is called mild oligohydramnios.

Does this mean something is wrong?

Not always.

Sometimes it can be due to:

• Dehydration
• Placental changes
• Crossing due date
• Small leaks
• Medical conditions like BP

Most of the time, doctors will:

✔ Monitor closely
✔ Suggest more fluids
✔ Repeat scan after few days
✔ Check baby growth & Doppler

Please don’t panic based on one report.

Regular follow-up is very important.

Every pregnancy is different.

Your doctor will guide based on your gestational age and baby’s condition.

For detailed pregnancy scans and expert monitoring, visit Vivid Scans.

Healthy baby. Calm mind. Informed mother. 💛

First Trimester Screening – High Risk? Don’t Panic. 🤍
📍Vivid Scans

If your First Trimester Screening shows “High Risk” during the scan, does it mean there is a problem?
Take a deep breath, mama. 🌸

“High risk” in screening does NOT mean your baby definitely has a problem.
It only means the probability is slightly higher than average.

First trimester screening combines:
• NT Scan (Nuchal Translucency)
• Double Marker blood test
• Maternal age factor

This is a screening test, not a final diagnosis.

If it shows high risk, your doctor may suggest:
• NIPT (Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing)
• Detailed anomaly scan
• Further consultation with a specialist

Many moms who get a “high risk” report later deliver completely healthy babies. 🤍

The key is:
Don’t panic.
Don’t Google too much.
Follow your doctor’s guidance.

At Vivid Scans, we ensure careful evaluation and clear explanations so you understand every step with confidence.

Your baby’s journey deserves clarity, not fear.

What is a Doppler Scan during Pregnancy? 🤰🩺
A Doppler scan is a special ultrasound that checks your baby’s blood flow and oxygen supply inside the womb. 💓
It helps doctors understand if your baby is receiving enough nutrients through the placenta.
Usually recommended when:
• Baby growth is slow
• High blood pressure
• Twin pregnancy
• Reduced baby movements
• High risk pregnancy
Don’t worry ❤️
It is completely safe, painless, and uses the same ultrasound technology.
At our center, we ensure detailed monitoring with advanced Doppler technology for your baby’s well-being.

Two heartbeats. Two tiny miracles. 💕
Twin pregnancy is special and it needs closer monitoring than a single pregnancy.

📅 How Many Scans Are Needed for Twin Babies?
In a twin pregnancy, scans are usually done more frequently to ensure both babies are growing well.

Here’s a general schedule:

🔹 6–8 weeks – Early viability scan (confirm twins & heartbeats)
🔹 11–13 weeks – NT scan / First trimester screening
🔹 18–22 weeks – Detailed anomaly scan
🔹 Every 4 weeks (or 2 weeks in some cases) – Growth scans in second & third trimester
🔹 Final weeks – Position & well-being scan before delivery
👉 Total scans may range from 6 to 10 or more, depending on:

• Type of twins (identical or fraternal)
• Placenta sharing
• Mother’s health condition
• Baby growth pattern

Twin pregnancies require expert evaluation and regular follow-up to avoid complications like growth restriction or fluid imbalance.

At Vivid Scans, we ensure careful monitoring, detailed reporting, and clear guidance for parents because double blessings deserve double care🤍

At Vivid Scans, waiting time can feel longer sometimes and it’s not because of delays, but because every scan is different.

👉 Each scan has a different time duration

• A basic scan may take 5–10 minutes
• Pregnancy scans (NT, anomaly, growth scans) can take 20–45 minutes
• Detailed or problem-oriented scans need extra time and focus

👉 Why this matters

Some scans require:

• Baby position changes
• Multiple measurements
• Doctor re-checking for accuracy
• Explaining findings carefully

We never rush a scan, because accuracy and safety matter more than speed.

✨ Your wait = someone else getting the time they truly need

And when it’s your turn, you’ll get that same attention and care.

Thank you for your patience and trust 🤍

Quality diagnosis always takes time.

First Trimester Screening or Double Marker — are they the same? 🤔
No.
Double marker is just a blood test.
First trimester screening is a combined test — NT scan + double marker + age.
Both are screening tests, not confirmation tests.
A “high risk” report does NOT mean your baby has a problem and does NOT mean abortion.
Always wait for proper guidance and confirmatory tests.
Fear should never decide — facts should. 🤍

First Trimester Screening shows “High Risk”? Please pause. Don’t panic. 🤍
Many moms panic when they see the words high risk on their first trimester screening report.
But here’s the truth 👇
👉 High risk is NOT a diagnosis.
👉 It does NOT mean your baby has a problem.
👉 It does NOT mean you need to abort.
First trimester screening is only a probability test, not a confirmation test.
It simply tells us whether further evaluation is needed.
What happens next?
✔️ Your doctor may suggest NIPT or diagnostic tests
✔️ Most moms with “high risk” results go on to have healthy babies
✔️ Decisions are made only after confirmatory tests, never from screening alone
💡 The most important thing:
Do not take any decision in fear. Take it with facts and guidance.
If you’ve received a high-risk report and feel anxious, you’re not alone and you’re not out of options ❤️

NT Scan – Part 2: What Your Report Really Means
Many parents panic after seeing the NT scan report.
Let’s simplify it 💙

1️⃣ NT value is NOT a diagnosis

NT scan only shows risk, not confirmation.
A higher value means further tests may be advised, not that something is wrong.

2️⃣ NT + Blood Test = Clarity

NT scan is usually combined with dual marker blood test.
Together, they give a more accurate risk assessment.

3️⃣ Normal NT doesn’t mean 100% guarantee
It means the risk is low, which is reassuring 👍

No scan can promise 100%, but this is a strong early check.

4️⃣ High NT doesn’t mean pregnancy will fail
Many babies with slightly high NT are born perfectly healthy.

Doctor will guide you calmly on the next step.

5️⃣ Doctor’s counselling matters most
Never Google your NT value.

Always discuss the report with your scan doctor for the right guidance.

A positive pregnancy test…
Then bleeding.
Then confusion.
This is called biochemical pregnancy.
It means pregnancy started but ended very early, before anything could be seen on scan.

❌ Not your fault
❌ Not caused by food, travel, stress or daily work
❌ Does NOT reduce future pregnancy chances
Most women go on to have a healthy pregnancy next time 🤍
If you’re confused, worried, or scared talk to your doctor.
Your body is trying ✨
