Symbolically speaking, yoga is one of the most ancient sciences in the world, serving as a source of eternal knowledge about our existence and the functioning of our mind and body. Rasika, the initiator of Methuselah Yoga & Life is a yoga practitioner and instructor, who believes that there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to health, fitness and spiritual growth. Yin yoga is a passive form of yoga that incorporates seated and supine postures to access the deep layers of connective tissue, ligaments and bones, and regulate the body's flow of energy. Through long holds we increase the body's flexibility, improve circulation and create space to work on the qualities of the mind.
Yoga nidra or yogic sleep is a state of consciousness that lies between sleep and wakefulness. Generally induced by a guided meditation, the practitioner experiences withdrawal of four of the five senses and is only hearing the instructions given. Yoga nidra is scientifically proven to relieve stress and bring about a deeply meditative and relaxed state of mind. A 30 minute yoga nidra practice is equivalent to 4 hours of deep sleep.
This session is available both offline and online through zoom.

Posting a student appreciation post after a long time, and who better to kick it off with than mother dearest. , Amma as i call her has been a regular in my classes for about 3 years now and who better to seek validation from than her. I've seen her journey from struggling to sit cross legged for a long time to now acing hour long vinyasa classes. More power to you Amma and i hope to be able to share this journey with you all my life.

And I'm back after a short break. Excited to teach again. I'm a big believer in quality over quantity, so I will be taking in limited registrations. If you're a beginner, we will be visiting the basics of asana and pranayama practice, so this is a good time for you to start. If you're already a yoga practitioner, this is a great space to touch up on your basics and continue practice with a renewed sense of alignment and body awareness.
