Could a simple nosebleed point to a serious lung condition?
An 85-year-old patient came to us with recurrent nosebleeds. The underlying cause turned out to be a rare Pulmonary AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation).
At HVS Hospitals, our vascular team treated the case through a minimally invasive embolization, using Amplatzer plugs and Interlock coils to seal the abnormal vessels and restore healthy pulmonary circulation.
This case is a reminder of how timely diagnosis and advanced endovascular care can save lives.
