The lungs are a pair of spongy, air-filled organs located in the chest (thorax), responsible for breathing. Their main job is to:

Bring oxygen into the body when you inhale.

Remove carbon dioxide from the body when you exhale.

Each lung is surrounded by a thin membrane called the pleura, and protected by the rib cage. The right lung has three lobes, while the left lung has two (to make space for the heart).

The main functions of the lungs are:

1. Gas Exchange:

Lungs take in oxygen from the air you breathe and pass it into your blood.

They also remove carbon dioxide (a waste gas) from your blood and release it when you exhale.

2. Regulation of pH:

By controlling the amount of carbon dioxide in the blood, the lungs help maintain the acid-base balance (pH) of the body.

3. Protection:

The lungs filter out small blood clots, air bubbles, and other debris from the bloodstream.

They also trap dust, bacteria, and other harmful particles with mucus and tiny hair-like structures (cilia).

4. Speech:

Air from the lungs passes through the vocal cords and allows us to speak.

5. Metabolic Functions:

The lungs also perform some biochemical activities like converting angiotensin I to angiotensin II (important in blood pressure regulation.....

Thuja knows how to ask (for favour,or to beg for things...)
whereas Medorrhinum is self-respecting.

Thuja has morning complaints, such as morning stiffness, etc.
Whereas Medorrhinum’s issues arise at night, like sleeplessness, leg cramping, etc.

Thuja doesn’t get many dreams, but they have intuitions and delusions.
Whereas Medorrhinum experiences intuitive dreams.

Thuja loves salads, while Medorrhinum prefers green vegetables and fruits.

Both have a Entertainment -seeking nature, but Medorrhinum is also religious..They both rule the entertainment industry.

Thuja cannot cry and is emotionless,
whereas Medorrhinum is deeply emotional and cries easily.

06/11/2024

The knee joint is the largest joint in the body, connecting the upper and lower leg bones. It's a hinge joint that allows for a range of movements, including walking, running, and jumping. The knee joint is made up of several parts, including:

Bones
The knee is made up of the femur (thigh bone), tibia (shin bone), and patella (kneecap).

Cartilage
The ends of the bones are covered with cartilage, a smooth, elastic material that absorbs shock and allows the bones to glide together.

Menisci
Two crescent-shaped pads of cartilage between the tibia and femur that reduce friction and distribute body weight across the joint.

Ligaments
The knee has several ligaments that control different types of movement:

Cruciate ligaments: The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is in front and the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) is in back, forming an "X". These ligaments control back and forth motion.

Collateral ligaments: The medial collateral ligament (MCL) connects the femur to the tibia, while the lateral collateral ligament (LCL) connects the femur to the fibula. These ligaments control sideways motion and brace the knee against unusual movement.
Synovial membrane
A fluid-filled sac that lubricates and protects the joint.

Some common knee problems include: sprained or strained ligaments, cartilage tears, tendonitis, and arthritis.

A medical examination and diagnostic procedures like an x-ray, MRI, CT scan, or arthroscopy can help diagnose knee injuries or problems.
