is not at all an authoritative phase of life rather it's a training or guiding opportunity for them. This opportunity has a limited time period, once this opportunity is missed, they have no option other than regretting it.
The begins since the foetus starts growing inside the womb after 18 weeks of pregnancy. The kind of kid parents desire is their own responsibility since the foetus can't perform any sensible action. That intangible and invisible mind of foetus starts performing its basic nature of copying. The foetal mind starts absorbing what it hears around the mother.
If the pregnancy environment is full of nonsense, never expect an intelligent kid in future and also don't blame the kid when he/she grows up. On the other hand, if the environment is full of kindness, wisdom, egolessness, caring, selfless love and joy, the kid will have such behaviour in his/her life.
"Prahlad", the son of demon Hrinyakashyapu, was in his mother's womb and she was in Bhakt Shiromani Narad's Ashram. There was all wisdom and devotional voices around the ashram, it affected the foetus mindset that the kid became immortal because of devotional thought of "Shri Hari". This only thought was all pervasive in his subconscious mind and all those miracles occurred in his early age. No need of chanting, no meditation practices required, just that devotional thought made him The Immortal King of The World for One Manvantar (306 million years) as mentioned in sage scriptures. It also shows the power of the almighty.
So, it totally depends on parents what kind of kid they wish, start training yourself and your kid as early as possible. Otherwise, it's highly difficult to transform in later ages due to fixed mental patterns.
It's a boon to every human who enters parenthood.
