On the Trait of Gossiping
Some people carry a habit of gossiping, turning conversations into timepass chatter about others, often adding a dash of spice simply to amuse themselves or the group, even taking pride in their style of talk.
But there is a clear difference between ‘sharing information out of genuine concern or with the intent of improvement’,
and ‘spinning tales merely for fun’.
Whether it is at a place of work or in any other setting, gossiping is a waste of time and energy. Words are powerful, and so are intentions.
The law of karma works like a boomerang 🪃; what you send out eventually finds its way back to you. If you speak lightly about someone, mock them, or spread untrue stories, remember this: one day, someone might do the same to you.
Instead, nurture the art of healthy conversations. Speak to exchange ideas, to inspire, to support, and to build bridges of understanding. Such dialogues leave people feeling lighter, wiser, and valued.
Before we speak, let us pause and reflect: Does what I am about to say serve truth, kindness or growth?
If not, time is precious. Better to invest your words, your energy, and your moments in work that is productive, or in the peaceful vibe that enriches your life. 🌸😇
