My insights shared with Hindustan Times, ANI News, and News18 focus on the newly introduced eye drops for 'relief from reading glasses'. These drops, are essentially lower-concentration pilocarpine, a molecule long used to treat glaucoma. It's essential to understand that these drops do not provide a permanent solution for eliminating reading glasses. Glasses remain the ideal, permanent solution without side effects, while the drops may be an option for a small proportion of patients unwilling to wear glasses

Inputs on the impact of screen usage and increased prevalence of dry eyes in the Times of India. Frequent breaks from screen use, maintaining an adequate distance from screens and a healthy posture are important ways to minimise the impact of screen use on our eyes
