Why Shavasana is the hardest yoga pose?

Shavasana might look like a nap at the end of your yoga practice. But it’s actually a fully conscious pose aimed at being awake, yet completely relaxed. In Shavasana also know as co**se pose- you lie down on your back and relax your body and mind so you may fully assimilate the benefits of your asana practice.

During this pose, you close your eyes, breathe naturally and practice eliminating tension from the body. Even a few minutes of Shavasana can have powerful benefits. I’m sure lot of you would wonder how can Shavasana be the hardest afterall??
Relaxing is that not easy at all, definitely not “conscious relaxation”.
Some of you like it some not, Shavasana is not a nap at the end of your yoga practice nor is it a waste of time. So for next time when you do this pose I hope you all do it with the dedication as you perform your rest yoga asana practice..🧘‍♀️🙏🏻

Benefits:- helps relieve mild depression, anxiety. Helps in high blood pressure, headache, fatigue, insomnia. It calms your nervous system, increased immunity and improved lungs function. And much more......

I believe this asana is one that I have to work consistently or I lose it. The story Hanuman accomplishing the impossible, motivated by his love for Rama, teaches us that power comes from devotion. For me it’s not just a fancy tricky pose, this is a lesson.. Nd I’m quite happy with my progress so far..🧘‍♀️🙏🏻🌸💫
