We did it ! After days of campaigning relentlessly, we finally managed to gather enough funds to provide 100 PPE kits to the staff of Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. All this wouldn’t have been possible without your constant support and generosity and we would like to extend our gratitude to each and every one of you. That being said, this is the mere beginning of our journey and we would love for you to be a part of it. Our fight against the pandemic will only continue from here on and we will continue to offer our help wherever it is required.

As the coronavirus pandemic paralyses the lives of people, frontline health workers and doctors have been putting up with unpleasant events to treat the infected. A collaborative effort seems to be the key to alleviate their burden at this time. Right from dealing with the risk of pathogen exposure, working for long hours, and experiencing occupational distress, enduring physical violence, as well as social stigma, doctors and frontline health workers in the country are not breathing easy. Ever since the surge in coronavirus cases, the very people who are attempting to detect and treat the virus have been facing multiple challenges.
India's PPE crisis puts workers in the line of fire. With a broken supply chain and inadequate stocks, health care workers face an acute shortage of protective gear and the risk of contracting coronavirus. In India, they have had to use raincoats and scarves in the absence of masks.
