“Healing India Now” (http://www.healingindianow.com) is an initiative by a lot of us who have gotten together to connect Final Year students from Medical/Nursing colleges across India to medical jobs. Our team which is made of multiple recruitment companies who have got together to create a pool of talent that will be available for jobs with leading hospitals, pathology labs and caregiving companies. Our firms work/ have worked not only with leading companies, the likes of Max Hospitals, 1MG, Manipal Hospitals, Practo, Apollo Hospitals etc, but also with government hospitals and a lot of overseas hospitals.
The estimated shortfall of Doctors is 1 Lakh, of nurses 2 lakhs and of phlebotomist is 1.2 lakhs. *
The government is expected to allow deployment of final year students in hospital wards. We have spoken with a lot of these companies and they have expressed their willingness to hire students in the final year once the government approves it.
