INTRODUCTION
Natural’s Care is a non-profit, non governmental, development organization (NGO), working via partners to promote, educate and involve people in rural and urban areas to achieve a better quality of life. Today progress in the developing countries depends largely on volunteers, NGOs and civil societies. This social work is built upon the foundation of consultation with communities, whereby the needs are not imposed by an outside agency; rather they are identified at the grassroots. In this manner, the Natural’s Care aims to act as positive catalyst for the change, utilizing the energies and initiatives of the people themselves. BACKGROUND
Natural’s Care was established in 2000 with the efforts of some young Scientists and got registered as a society under Society Registration Act 1860 at National Level with registered office at Delhi in the year 2002. It is a group of scientists and professionals of different areas and with a capacity to undertake and run all such activities and programs which are related to development of less fortunate and socio- economically deprived. We are a small body of determined spirits fired by an unquenchable faith in our mission to alter the course of development by providing innate power to the socially and economically deprived people to shape up their life through capacity building training ,empowerment, education and better health care practices. • To develop sustainable agro-techniques and better cropping patterns for marginal farmers to upgrade their socio-economic status.
• To provide capacity building training to adolescent girls and women especially from deprived and underprivileged section of the society, improve their vocational and soft skills.
• To aware community about conservation of water through different awareness activities and programs.
• To work as a catalyst to work with women and child right issues and gender sensitivity through awareness programs and need based interventions.
• To make efforts for the promotion of better health and hygiene practices hence work hand in hand with the Government of India in its goal of providing health for all, through awareness campaigns, counseling and referral services, health check-up programs and knowledge transfers through peer education.
• To make efforts to provide non formal education to adults ,adolescents and children of underprivileged community and mainstream their education. Since its inception in the year 2000 ,Natural’s Care has been working in the field of “agriculture development.” On request of the community, we realized that we should make an effective step to start some other need based interventions in the field of community development, education and health sectors in both rural and urban areas. Since year 2008 Natural’s Care has been implementing community based interventions in five states including Haryana ,Punjab, Delhi ,Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. In coming years .we have the plan to expend our activities in Madhaya Pradesh , Uttaranchal and Himachal Pradesh. DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES & PROGRAMS
Agriculture and natural resource management are core areas of working. The organization believes that “Rural changes come through rural resources only”. It means that optimum utilization of human and naturals resources available in rural areas is the best way of development and we are planning our strategies and programs accordingly. We feel that agriculture and water conservation are the backbone of the rural Indian economy, so we are considering it as a prime sector in our development activities. Hence Natural’s Care is organizing Awareness Activities ,Workshops ,Capacity Building Trainings and Tours etc. Child Education, Health and Hygiene are the most neglected areas in rural and urban slums and Natural’s Care has been working in the field since 2008. In field of education, we are working with the children of migrant labours, Brick Kiln workers, construction workers, children of Female Sex workers and Urban deprived children such as Rag pickers through non formal education and mainstream them in regular schools hence helping government to fulfill its goal “ Education for all” . In the field of Health, Natural’s Care is working in the prevention and awareness of HIV/AIDS and T.B. and RCH program because these are the most neglected areas and under privileged communities are more effected by these problems in rural as well as urban slums. We are also working on water and sanitation awareness campaigns. Organization is also actively working to protect deforestation. We are motivating the local people by training, seminar, Nukad meeting and workshop. The organization has been implementing women empowerment program since December 2004 in which women are engaged in profitable economic activities through SHGs. We are also working on gender equality and running Gender Resource Centre to empower women through Legal awareness, Education, Nutritional and Health awareness and Livelihood training. We are also working on Women Safety issues at Delhi and NCR. Natural’ Care is equally considered about children and their rights and is running the Child Line 1098 toll free number. Dimensions
Natural’s Care is also undertaking Research and studies of different development sectors from government and private sectors. Natural’s Care over the years has grown and comprises of professionally managed team of consultants ,executives and trainers. We as a team self sufficient in providing a helping hand to the organizations looking for ventures. Though a vast experience of a decade and half, we can design and develop the projects as per requirement of the organizations ,supply human resources ,develop modules and tools for base line assessment or survey and critically evaluate the projects. Natural’s care, project consultants, has on expertise and innumerable modules to customize programs on varied lines like education, health ,community development and agriculture etc.
