Qualified Physiotherapist Society QUALIFIED PHYSIOTHERAPIST SOCIETY, (Registered under societies Act XXI of 1860. No. S/287 of 2010)

QPS envisions bringing all physiotherapists under one common roof, wherein their aspirations and grievances can be shared and satisfied. We aim to improve the awareness of importance of physiotherapy, and incorporate it as an essential part of treatment. Some Physiotherapists pained and dissatisfied with the prevailing condition of the profession are trying to uplift this. They have floated the platform and joined hands under the banner of QUALIFIED PHYSIOTHERAPIST SOCIETY.

PEACEFUL CANDLE LIGHT PROCESSION OUTSIDE SAFDARJUNG HOSPITAL ON 23/12/2012
Dear friends, we condemn the action taken by government and police of lathi-charge, using water cannons & dropping tear-gas on common man for raising their voice for better law & security for women . Our dear Government needs to suppress the atrocity against women and not the voice against crime. Our police protects the VIPs and not the common man. We have equal right to be secured. This forms our basic need. Government needs to understand, that anything or everything is NOT accepted.

Let us step ahead to be a part of PEACEFUL and SOLEMN CANDLE LIGHT PROCESSION outside Safdarjung Hospital Gate, Ring Road for the cause of safety and security for women of our family, society and country.
DATE: 23/12/12
TIME: 5:30 PM
AT: SAFDARJUNG HOSPITAL GATE, RING ROAD

This physiotherapist girl who was r***d and is now fighting for life needs our support. We don’t know her. But she is related to us by the universal bond of humanity. It could happen to anyone of us or someone we cared about. Today is the day. Spare few hours to humanity. Every girl needs to come out of their house today to stand for themselves. Make it a better place for the generations to come.
We demand better and strict laws against rapists; capital punishment; fast-track courts.
Either today or Never. Stand out and show that you care, that this bothers you.
REQUEST: THIS IS IMPORTANT. PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH ANY & EVERYONE.

Request to all physios and physio associations :
We are all aware of the critical situation and the final opportunity regarding NCHRH bill.
Here, unifying our thoughts and agendas is really important to create an impact in the standing committee. So we all QPS members request the concerned representatives to symbolize unity of the physio community.
By this request , our aim is not to demotivate those physios who are planning to send their objections, but only to go on the same path.
United we stand, divided we fall.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL QPS MEMBERS FOR SUCCESS OF THE PHYSIOTHERAPY AWARENESS CAMP AT VILLAGE, GEHLAB, HARYANA.
A team of 9 physiotherapists and 3 physicians with 2 nursing staff participated.A total of 198 patients attended the camp, out of which nearly 50% had problems which can be dealt by physiotherapist alone, another 10% required physicians and physiotherapist consultation and rest 40% were dealt by physicians alone.
This clearly shows the importance of physiotherapy in primary health centers and rural areas.
On the whole we were able to educate the population about physiotherapy , of which majority was unaware.
