Although caffeine use may be safe for adults, it's not a good idea for children. Adolescents and young adults need to be cautioned about excessive caffeine intake and mixing caffeine with alcohol and other drugs.

Women who are pregnant or who are trying to become pregnant and those who are breast-feeding should talk with their doctors about limiting caffeine use to less than 200 mg daily.

Even among adults, heavy caffeine use can cause unpleasant side effects. And caffeine may not be a good choice for people who are highly sensitive to its effects or who take certain medications.

A low hemoglobin count is generally defined as less than 13.2 grams of hemoglobin per deciliter (132 grams per liter) of blood for men and less than 11.6 grams per deciliter (116 grams per liter) for women.

If a disease or condition affects your body's ability to produce red blood cells, your hemoglobin levels may drop. When your hemoglobin level is low, it means your body isn't getting enough oxygen, making you feel very tired and weak

Apricots, apples, grapes, bananas, pomegranates and watermelons play a very important role in improving hemoglobin count. Apples are a delicious and suitable option when it comes to Increasing hemoglobin levels as they're one of the most iron-rich fruits out there.

Alcohol can affect the mind and body in many ways - in some ways positively, but in many ways negatively over time if consumed too much.

Over the festive period, many found it a testing time - wanting to be at the centre of the party but not wanting to drink to excess and regret it the next day.

Everyone knows that alcohol has traditionally been at the heart of everyone's idea of a good time, but these attitudes are changing fast.

The population wants to eat healthier foods, cutting meat products not only for their own health but also for the environment and animal welfare. This changing lifestyle is also moving into the drinks space. People want cleaner drinks, less sugar, less alcohol and more provenance when it comes to knowing what's in their glass.

Iron is an essential nutrient that plays an important role in many bodily functions
A diet lacking in iron can result in low energy levels, shortness of breath, headaches, irritability, dizziness or anemia.
Iron can be found in two forms in foods — heme and non-heme. Heme iron is only found in animal products, whereas non-heme iron is only found in plants.

The recommended dietary allowance (RDA) is based on an average intake of 18 mg per day. However, individual requirements vary based on a person’s gender and life stage.
For instance, men and post-menopausal women generally require around 8 mg of iron per day. This amount increases to 18 mg per day for menstruating women and to 27 mg per day for pregnant women.

Meeting an old friend or spending time with family at a cafe often involves indulging in a classic beverage that never fails to delight our taste buds - cold coffee.

Do you know how dangerous is your favourite cold- coffee?
It includes :
Energy- 180 Kcal
Sugar- 21gm
Fat- 6 gm
Fibre- 0%

So, this appears so innocent, yes if you check the no. of calories is extremely low but the no. of calories does not justify the type of unhealthy food cold coffee is. It's the high amount of sugar i.e. 6 spoons of sugar in this 1 glass of cold coffee.

Most of the cold coffees that you order or have from any random shop are made with scoops of ice cream rather than milk to make them more delicious. So taking out sugar from your glass of cold coffee is not even an option even if you ask them to make them a sugar-free coffee, most of the time it is not possible.

So what are the alternatives available in the market for you to have while hanging out? Good news for all the chai lovers, if you are having sugar-free tea- it has about 45-50 Kcals and 1gm of fat. So even if you consume tea with sugar the total comes out to be 55 Kcals and 6gm of sugar with 2 gm of fat.

No, we are not saying you cannot have a cold- coffee when you are out with friends. Make sure that the cold- coffee you are having is not made with ice cream. Choosing a cup of hot tea without sugar or with stevia/sugar-free is always a safe and excellent option. The other options are Namkeen lassi and coconut water. There are so many healthy options out there, but we hardly choose any and now you know what kind of things you need to ignore. Your health, is your call! 😉
