His broad intellect like his head, speak less and listen more like his big ears n small mouth, ekdant being soul conscious, power to accomodate like his big stomach, his trunk depicting balance of love n law.

It was truly heartening to visit the old age home in Noida, where the *Inner Wheel Club* invited me to talk about *Mental Health and Happiness* with the elderly residents, aiming to enhance their emotional well-being.
I was deeply moved by the compassionate environment provided at the facility-a spacious, well-equipped house with dedicated caretakers and medical assistance, catering primarily to individuals from humble backgrounds.
After insightful discussions with Dr. Manisha, who manages the organization, I found myself pondering about the relationship dynamics between parents and children. Some elderly residents chose to stay here willingly, while others seemed to be left by their children and not meet them as well. Some of whom are contributing financially for their care and some are just left alone without any financial support too.

This experience prompted me to reflect on what might strain the beautiful relationship between parent and child, questioning: Is it always the fault of the children?
Are the circumstances to be blamed?
Is it because of not so appropriate parenting style?

This issue, upon deeper reflection, reveals a complex interplay of societal changes, economic pressures, cultural shifts, and individual choices that influence such familial dynamics.
