*CMO Doda Inaugurates Health & Wellness Camp in Bhaderwah as Part of Seva Parv 2025*
DODA, 17th Sept. 2025:
As a part of the ongoing Seva Parv 2025 campaign (Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar), the Health Department organized a day-long series of health and wellness activities at SDH Bhaderwah on 17-09-2025.
The programme was inaugurated by Chief Medical Officer Doda, Dr. Om Kumar, in the presence of Block Medical Officer Bhaderwah, Dr. Versha Sharma, and the medical staff of SDH Bhaderwah.
The day witnessed a wide range of services being extended to the general public, including ANC check-ups, general health check-ups, and NCD (Non-Communicable Disease) screening. In addition, a special yoga session was also conducted to spread awareness about holistic health and preventive care.
Speaking on the occasion, CMO Doda, Dr. Om Kumar, highlighted the importance of Seva Parv 2025 and said, “The campaign is a celebration of Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar, which emphasizes the well-being of women and families as the foundation of a healthy society. Today’s activities, from health check-ups to yoga, are a small step towards encouraging people to take proactive care of their health. I urge the community to regularly avail these services, adopt healthy lifestyles, and work collectively towards building a stronger, healthier Doda.”
A similar programme was also held at Government Medical College Doda, which was inaugurated by the Principal GMC Doda, along with CMO Doda and other dignitaries. The event included a series of health awareness activities and interactive sessions aimed at sensitizing staff, patients, and attendants about preventive health practices and lifestyle modifications.
Both programmes concluded with enthusiastic participation from the community and stakeholders, reflecting the positive impact of Seva Parv 2025 across the district.
