Where the ink of a poet meets the compassion of a healer — that is the spirit of Rabindra Jayanti at GIMSH.
On this inspiring occasion, GIMSH — dedicated to Inspiring Healers and Building Tomorrow — proudly celebrates the birth anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, the legendary poet, philosopher, and Nobel laureate whose words have shaped the cultural and intellectual identity of a nation. Tagore believed that art and science are not opposites — they are two hands of the same body, working together to build a more beautiful, more just world. This belief sits at the very heart of everything we do at GIMSH.
As we train the healers of tomorrow, we draw deeply from Tagore's well of wisdom — his belief in empathy, in the dignity of every human being, in the transformative power of education, and in the responsibility each one of us carries toward the world we share. A great physician, like a great poet, must feel before they act — and in that feeling lies the true power to heal.
On this Rabindra Jayanti, we celebrate not just a poet, but a way of being in the world — with open eyes, an open heart, and an unrelenting drive to make tomorrow better than today. ✒️🌿💛
