A very informative and academically enriching CME was conducted on 18th May 2026 from 2 PM to 5 PM at Hotel Radisson Blu, Dwarka on the topic:

“Fertility Sparing Management of Uterine Myoma — The Pill vs Scalpel”

The session witnessed excellent academic discussions and active audience participation.

Consultant IVF Specialist & Director, Hatch Fertility and IVF Centre, Sector 12A, Dwarka, delivered an insightful talk on the medical management of myoma.

🌟 Hands-on Emergency Preparedness Workshop for Nurses & Paramedical Staff 🌟
📅 Date: 17/05/2026
⏰ Time: 1:00 PM onwards
📍 Venue: Grand Ballroom, Radisson Hotel, Dwarka

A dedicated training workshop for Nurses and Paramedical Staff was successfully organized by IMA Dwarka with the objective of strengthening emergency response skills, improving practical preparedness, and promoting better patient care at the grassroots level of healthcare delivery.

More than 75 nurses and paramedical professionals from different hospitals and healthcare institutions participated enthusiastically in the program. The workshop focused not only on theoretical understanding but also on extensive hands-on practical training sessions, allowing participants to actively learn and practice essential emergency management skills.

The interactive nature of the training, the eagerness of participants to learn, and the spirit of teamwork throughout the sessions made the entire program highly engaging and meaningful. Such initiatives play an important role in empowering frontline healthcare workers who are often the first responders during medical emergencies both inside hospitals and in the community.

IMA Dwarka sincerely thanks all hospitals and healthcare institutions for sparing their valuable staff members and supporting this educational initiative. The cooperation and encouragement from the healthcare fraternity made this program possible and successful.

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Tina Goel as Convenor, while the hands-on practical training sessions and academics were led by Dr. Alka Chandra as Chief Trainer. The program was Coordinated by Dr. Pankaj Kumar, Chairperson, Nursing Home Committee, IMA Dwarka.

IMA Dwarka looks forward to organizing many more such academic and skill-development programs in the future. Even small steps towards training more healthcare workers can create a larger impact by making hospitals, workplaces, public places, and the community safer with more trained hands available to tackle emergencies whenever needed.

On the occasion of World Health Day, IMA Dwarka organized a highly impactful Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid Workshop for Delhi Police personnel at Delhi Police Academy.
More than 150 trainees enthusiastically participated in hands-on life-saving skill training.

United Specialties, Better Endocrine Care ✨
An enriching academic conclave jointly organised by the Department of Endocrinology & Diabetes, Max Super Speciality Hospital Dwarka, in collaboration with IMA Dwarka, was successfully held on 3rd May 2026 at Welcomhotel by ITC, Dwarka.
The conference brought together eminent endocrinologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals for a highly engaging day focused on the latest advances in diabetes and endocrine care. The hands-on workshops on CGM and insulin pump technologies offered valuable practical insights for clinicians, while the scientific sessions covered important contemporary topics including hyponatraemia, osteoporosis, pregnancy-related diabetes management, paediatric endocrinology, and secondary hypertension.
It was truly inspiring to witness stalwarts like Dr. Ambrish Mithal Sir and many distinguished faculty members from across Delhi sharing their expertise and experience on one platform, creating an atmosphere of meaningful academic exchange and collaborative learning.

Women’s Wing of IMA Dwarka conducted an enriching CME on “Recent Updates on Medical Management of Endometriosis” on 28th April 2026 at Uncover Avenue, Sector 13, Dwarka, from 2 PM to 4 PM.

The academic session was delivered by Dr. Nikita Banerjee — MBBS, MS (OBGYN), DNB, IVF Specialist, Director, Hatch Fertility & IVF Center, Sector 12 Dwarka. She shared valuable clinical insights and her practical experience regarding various management strategies for endometriosis, making the session highly informative and clinically relevant.
The CME witnessed a full-house attendance with excellent audience interaction and enthusiastic participation from members.
