The brutality of cowardly terrorists has turned the serene beauty of Pahalgam into a heartbreaking scene.

Regardless of what twisted ideology they claim to follow, the act of killing innocent tourists can only be called one thing: terrorism.

Unarmed people, who came together with love and peace in their hearts, were gunned down in cold blood. The tragedy that unfolded in Pahalgam is both haunting and deeply devastating. Such acts of terror, and those who carry them out, must be eradicated at any cost.

This must be a battle against terrorism and the cowards who hide in the shadows, targeting defenseless lives. We may never get back the 27 innocent souls lost that day, but our response must be so strong, so decisive, that no terrorist ever dares to carry out such an act again.

In a country as vast as India, it is sad that we just have 14% women representation in our Parliament. The Women’s Reservation Bill, which proposes a 33% representation for women, has been pending for 10 years. The next general election is in 2024 and I think it is high time that we get to see more women in the Parliament. ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ജനധിപത്യ രാജ്യമായ ഭാരതത്തിൽ ഇന്നും സ്ത്രീകൾ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ഇല്ത്തവരോ? സ്ത്രീപുരുഷ സമത്വം ഉറപ്പ് നൽകഉന്ന ഭരണഘടനയിലെ സ്ത്രീ പുരുഷ സമത്വം എവിടെ നിൽകു ന്നൂ? സ്വന്തം കുടുംബത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടോ? സ്വന്തം സമുദായത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടോ? ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് വേണ്ടി നിയമനിർമാണം നടത്തുന്ന നിയമസഭയിൽ ഉണ്ടോ? പാർലിമെൻ്റിൽ ഉണ്ടോ?

ഇവിടെ എന്ന് എല്ലാ സ്ത്രീ ക്ക് തുല്യത ലഭിക്കുന്നു, അന്നു മാത്രമേ സ്ത്രീകൾക്ക് എതിരെ ഉള്ള അതിക്ക്രമം അവസാനിക്കൂ. അതിന് സ്ത്രീകളോട് ഇന്ന് കുടുംബത്തിലും സമൂഹത്തിലും ഉള്ള മനോഭാവതിന് മാറ്റം വരണം. സ്ത്രീ ഒരു രണ്ടാം കിട പൗര എല്ലാ എന്ന സത്യം നാം അംഗീകരിക്കണം.
