Some places don’t just welcome us, they restore us.
Returning to familiar land, rhythms, and community can be deeply regulating. Not as escape, but as practice.
Far away travel isn’t always easy for me with long journeys, jet lag, crowds, intensity. But when a place nourishes the nervous system and the soul, the effort becomes a welcome part of the initiation.
Conscious travel isn’t about leaving life behind. It’s about remembering what brings us back into alignment. And to remind us how alive we truly are.

Day one of this year’s spiritual immersion in India.
I left snow in Switzerland and landed much closer to the equator and am easing in with beach time before heading into a nāda yoga retreat next month.
This beach is nectar for my soul, alongside simple rituals I love: morning coffee, reconnecting with old friends (two- and four-legged), and trading evening screen time for mystical sunsets.
So grateful. 🙏
