Month-long World Oral Health Campaign culminates in Ganderbal, experts emphasize on continous efforts
Ganderbal, April 20: The month-long World Oral Health Campaign in District Ganderbal culminated today with a series of impactful activities conducted across the district, reaffirming the commitment of the Health Department towards promoting oral hygiene and preventive dental care among the masses.
On the concluding day, multiple oral screening camps, a walkathon, and public awareness programmes were organized at various locations to sensitize the community about the importance of maintaining good oral health practices.
The grand culmination program was held at District Hospital Ganderbal, which was graced by the Worthy Deputy Director Dentistry as the Chief Guest.
The program was attended by the Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Ganderbal, District Nodal Officer (NOHP), and members of the dental fraternity.
A comprehensive PowerPoint presentation showcasing the wide range of activities conducted during the month-long campaign was presented by the District Hospital Ganderbal team.
The Worthy Deputy Director Dentistry lauded the consistent efforts and dedication of the district team in successfully executing the campaign and reaching out to the community at large.
Speaking on the occasion, it was emphasized that oral health promotion remains a continuous priority.
The programme concluded with a strong resolve that such awareness and outreach activities will not be limited to a particular day or month, but will be sustained throughout the year across District Ganderbal to ensure long-term community benefit.
