👶 Newborn Assessment Guide – Right After Birth 👶
🔹 Apgar Score checks baby’s condition (1–5 mins)
🔹 Breathing & crying – is baby breathing well?
🔹 Heart rate – strong and steady?
🔹 Muscle tone – are limbs moving actively?
🔹 Skin color – pink and healthy?
🔹 Reflexes – responds to touch or sound?
🔹 Weight & length – measured right away
🔹 Head & chest size – checked for growth
🔹 Umbilical cord – clamped and cleaned
🔹 First breastfeeding encouraged early 🤱
