More than 2,000 years ago, Hippocrates declared that “All disease begin in the GUT”, Hippocrates was a Greek Physician and Father of Modern medicine. And long term lifestyle disorder is thought to be a driving force for chronic disorders.

GUT plays a significant role in our well-being.
Cause of Chronic lifestyle disorders may be due to Leaky GUT, which results in chronic disorders. Maybe the missing link between unhealthy nourishment and Chronic digestive disorders.
Still Chronic lifestyle disorder is incredibly complex, and scientists are just beginning to explore how these lifestyle disorders and food habits may be connected..

It is now well established that one of the root causes of lifestyle disorders is chronic stress. Chronic Stress is one of the most rampant affliction of the modern world.

Chronic stress causes cellular stress which reduces the permeability of cell walls causing decreased absorption of oxygen and nutrients. This is also the reason for *Insulin Resistance* also known as *Type-2 Diabetes.* Our cells do not operate at peak efficiency causing perpetual fatigue.

The reasons of chronic stress are *lack of sleep* and *balancing the pressures of meeting work deadlines and running your home.* A couple of generations ago life was less hectic, more slow paced with less stress.

मूली के फायदे ....

सर्दियों में सलाद के बहुत सारे ऑपशन होते हैं. लेकिन ज्यदातर लोग मूली खाना ज्यादा पसंद करते हैं. पर कुछ लोग ऐसे भी हैं जो मूली का सलाद खाना या यू कहें कि मूली कच्चा खाना पसंद नहीं करते हैं, तो ऐसे में वो लोग मूली के पराठे या फिर मूली को आचार रूप खाते हैं.

1. कैंसर की छुट्टी
मूली में भरपूर मात्रा में फॉलिक एसिड, विटामिन C और एंथोकाइनिन पाए जाते हैं. ये तत्‍व शरीर को कैंसर से लड़ने में मदद करते हैं. मुंह, पेट, आंत और किडनी के कैंसर से लड़ने में यह बहुत सहायक होती है.

2. डायबिटीज से छुटकारा
मूली कम ग्‍लाइसेमिक इंडेक्‍स के लिए जानी जाती है. यानी कि इसे खाने से ब्‍लड शुगर पर असर नहीं होता है. रोजाना सुबह खाने में मूली का सेवन करने से डायबिटीज से जल्द छुटकारा मिल सकता है.

3. सर्दी-जुकाम में राहत
मूली खाने से जुकाम भी नही होता है. कुछ नहीं तो मूली को कम से कम सलाद में तो जरूर खाना चाहिए.

5. पायरिया से राहत .
पायरिया से परेशान लोग मूली के रस से दिन में 2-3 बार कुल्ले करें और इसका रस पिएं तो बहुत फायदा होगा. मूली के रस से कुल्ला करना, मसूड़ों-दांतों पर मलना और पीना दांतों के लिये बहुत लाभकारी है. मूली को चबा-चबा कर खाने से दांतों और मसूड़ों की बीमारियां दूर होती हैं.

6. मिटेगी थकान, दूर होगा मोटापा
थकान मिटाने और नींद लाने में मूली बेहद फायदेमंद है. वहीं, अगर आपको मोटापे से छुटकारा पाना है तो मूली के रस में नींबू और नमक मिलाकर खाने से बहुत लाभ मिलता है. दरअसल, मूली खाने से आपकी भूख शांत होती है.

7. मुंहासों से मुक्ति
मूली में विटामिन C, जिंक, B कांप्‍लेक्‍स और फॉस्‍फोरस होता है. मुंहासों के लिए मूली का टुकड़ा गोल काट कर मुंहासों पर लगाएं और तब तक लगाए रखें जब तक यह खुश्क न हो जाए. थोड़ी देर बाद चेहरे को ठंडे पानी से धो लें. कुछ ही दिनों में चेहरा साफ हो जाएगा.

अधिकांश भारतीय सलाद को संगत के रूप में खाने के आदी हैं, और इसमें आमतौर पर निम्नलिखित शामिल होते हैं:
1. प्याज
2. टमाटर
3. खीरा
4. मूली
5. गाजर

सलाद में कुछ वसा जोड़ना महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि हरी पत्तेदार सब्जियों में वसा में घुलनशील पोषक तत्वों को अवशोषित करने के लिए इसकी आवश्यकता होती है। इस वसा को एवोकैडो या नट और बीज के रूप में जोड़ा जा सकता है। कोई तेल नहीं डालना चाहिए।
यह इसे एक संपूर्ण भोजन और बहुत स्वस्थ बनाता है। इसे लंच या डिनर में खाया जा सकता है।

ANTI DEPRESSION...L- TRYPTOPHAN.....It is an essential amino acid, found in some foods (turkey,beef, Soya) that is precursor of the neurotransmitter serotonin .hence taking L-TRYPTOPHAN via food or supplements results in increased serotonin production.

Treatment of cirrhosis of liver basically consist of:
avoiding alcohol,
taking bed rest,
taking a diet that emphasizes on digestible proteins
and

This problem is called intermittent claudication, this is the pain in the calf or thigh that flares up after walking a certain distance. But when you stop and rest for five to ten minutes, it subsides.
The claudication is a symptom of a larger problem called PERIPHERAL Artery disease ( PAD). and this in turn is a sign that unhealthy arteries elsewhere in the body could be setting the stage for even bigger problem.This leg pain could be a symptom that you should take an Aspirin and meet a doctor.
During PAD , blood doesn't flow like it should through the arteries specifically in the legs. This is typically the result of fatty build up in the arteries, known as Atherosclerosis. However not everyone will develop the symptoms of leg pain with PAD.
However the atherosclerosis that is found in the arteries of the legs, may also be elsewhere in the body, including heart, hence risk will be same like for a known coronary artery disease patient.

However if you have peripheral artery disease, use of Aspirin and some nutrients can reduce the risk of heart attack'and stroke.

The most common cause of constipation at any age are too little fiber and not enough liquids in the diet . however as you get older other contributing factor of constipation comes into play.
1...Lack of Exercise......as regular exercise prevents the constipation by increasing the contractions of the intestine.
2...Medication.....some drugs are constipating, like....Iron/ calcium supplements , diuretics and anti depressants.

Weight loss and maintenance..It's basic law of universe that if you use more calories than you consume, you loss weight.
Exercise is like buy two and get one free proposition. As it will not only elevate your Metabolic rate, while you are exercising, but it keeps your calories burning metre on for hours after exercise is complete.
Similarly by increasing your muscles mass with exercise, you increase the amount of energy your body naturally expends just to keep functioning even at rest.

Good Health.. By building endurance, flexibility and muscles strength, regular exercise contributes to the health of your muscles, bones and joints. In addition to improving your cardiovascular health, you will have greater energy and stamina.

Exercise comes with another powerful health benifit against insulin resistance.( Diabetes) Regular exercise results in a more efficient use of glucose at the cellular level, and this in turn reduces the output of insulin by the pancreas.

1. To develop a habit of being able to stand ... just don’t sit! ... and don’t lie down if you can sit!

2. After the age of 50~60, it is not possible to lose weight, especially if you do not exercise and rely on eating less to lose weight!
Because if all the muscles are lost, it can be very dangerous!

3. Does running, cycling or climbing hurt the knee?
If you have never exercised before you can only go running, biking, or climbing in your mind as it will hurt your knees a lot!
But if you have enough muscle strength and slowly develop the habit of running, cycling, and climbing, it can be a good exercise and not hurt your knees! Whether you hurt your knees or not depends on your muscle strength!
