Face yoga is been viral for the longest time… but does it REALLY work?

Let's look at what the science actually says.

A pilot study published in JAMA Dermatology found that women aged 40–65 who practised facial exercises consistently for 20 weeks showed noticeable improvement in cheek fullness and were even rated to look visibly younger. 😳✨

Participants practised 30 minutes daily initially, then every alternate day. Researchers observed smoother, fuller and firmer-looking facial appearance.

YES. That's true.
And I'm an Internationally certified face yoga expert saying this myself. 👀

Let me break it down in the most honest way possible 👇

Q: Can face yoga really cause wrinkles?

A: Yes - if done with the wrong technique. Your face has over 40 muscles, and unlike body muscles, they attach directly to your skin (not to bone). So when you move them incorrectly, you're physically folding the skin itself. That's not just "not working" - that's actively creating creases. 😵‍💫

Q: What are the wrong face yoga techniques to avoid?

A: I call these the 5 crease-causing mistakes:

❌ aggressively stretching your skin
❌ dragging your fingers too hard
❌ repeatedly scrunching the same areas
❌ practising face yoga on dry skin
