Remote Village. Difficult Terrain. A Mother’s Fight for Her Child’s Breath.
And how one clinic changed everything.
In the mist-covered hills of Shiliang Jashar, a remote village in the Pynursla region of Meghalaya, 6-month-old Baby Merin was struggling to breathe. Persistent cough, nasal congestion, and sleepless nights made life painful—for both the baby and his mother. With the nearest hospital 50 km away in Shillong and no reliable transport, reaching medical help meant lost wages, long walks, and rising fears.

A New Freedom of Breathing After Years of Suffering!

For Iadeishisha Dkhar, a hardworking teacher from Mowtyrshiah ‘A’ village, sinusitis was not only a disease, but also a fight.
It was a condition characterized by blocked nostrils, sneezing, headaches, and sleeplessness. She visited many doctors and took different medicines, but the relief was always short-lived. It was only when she found out about SONU Band Therapy at Gramin Health Care that things changed for the better.
First, she doubted. The first few days, nothing changed. However, with the help of our doctors and a bit of time, she followed the therapy for 14 days and the outcome was incredible!
