These days it's so difficult to keep our children away from junk and processed foods.
Research shows that restricting food can backfire. It can make your child want that food even more causing food struggles. So, rather than a long list of food restrictions, the key to success is to find a balance when it comes to food. Help your child develop a positive relationship with food by allowing them to eat treats sometimes, without feeling guilty. In fact, letting them taste and explore different types of food is a part of supporting this healthy relationship with food.
Making some tweaks with the foods they want to eat is a win win.
Here I have made Ragi chocos , a simple , quick and healthy recipe. Can be eaten with milk or can be eaten as a chocolate bark as a snack. Add some nuts and seeds to make it more nutrients rich
Recipe:
Store bought Ragi puffed rice (murmura)
Dark chocolate
Nuts and seeds of choice
Method:
Dry roast Ragi murmura and keep aside
In a double boiler melt some chocolate
Now mix melted chocolate and Ragi puffed rice together , add some nuts and seeds
Now spread this mixture on the baking sheet and keep in refrigerator to cool
Now break them and store
Enjoy with warm/cold milk or as a snack 😋
Try and let me know if your kid likes it. Adults can have them too 😊
