During this time, what you eat plays a crucial role not just in keeping you fit, but also in maintaining internal coolness and hydration. As a dietitian who believes in seasonal eating, I strongly advocate aligning your plate with nature’s rhythm.

Stay Hydrated with Nature’s Bounty
First and foremost—hydration is non-negotiable. Water, infused drinks like aam panna, coconut water, lemon water, and buttermilk are your summer saviors. They replenish electrolytes and support detoxification naturally.

Load Up on Water-Rich Fruits and Vegetables
Nature blesses us with cooling foods like watermelon, muskmelon, cucumber, tomatoes, mint, and coconut. These foods are packed with water, fiber, and essential vitamins that keep your body temperature regulated and support digestion.

Light, Seasonal Meals for Sustained Energy
