LEARNINGS FROM CLIENT'S BLOOD REPORT ANALYSIS:

🌿 Your Sugar May Be Normal… But Is Your Insulin Normal? 🌿

✅ Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) below 100
✅ HbA1c below 5.7%
✅ Which means the client is currently in the non-diabetic range.

However, the most important marker to focus on here is the ⚠️ "Fasting Insulin".

It is elevated - Way above the optimal rnge of 2.5 - 6 μU/mL.

Why does this happen? 🤔

This stage is called Hyperinsulinemia, which simply means, the body is producing high levels of insulin. This is body’s natural protective mechanism to keep blood sugar under control and prevent glucose toxicity (which eventually leads to diabetes). So far, the body has been managing this well.

But when insulin stays elevated for a long time—especially above the optimal range of around 6 µU/mL—it starts creating a condition called Insulin Resistance, which is measured through HOMA-IR ( 7.81) . This means insulin is no longer working efficiently. Your body has to produce more and more insulin to do the same job.

This is why Insulin Resistance is often called:
😴 “Sleeping Diabetes” —because the damage starts much before blood sugar rises.

It is also important to understand that chronically high insulin comes with a cost. Insulin is a fat-storage hormone. Excess glucose coming from a daily "high-carb diet" gets converted into fatty acids. These fatty acids are either stored in the fat cells as triglycerides leading to abdominal (viceral) obesity or start showing up in the lipid profile as elevated triglycerides, fatty liver, or weight gain—often both.

High insulin also affects the body in many other ways. It can reduce kidney filtration efficiency, causing sodium and water retention, which pushes blood pressure up. At the same time, it damages the endothelial lining—the delicate inner layer of the arteries and veins—making blood vessels stiff over time. This arterial stiffness, combined with fluid retention, gradually leads to hypertension (high blood pressure).
