We believe that to work in these fields are the only way to make a difference in our population ABOUT US
Lack of education and poverty are the main issues that hinder the development and the upliftment of society and the state. Uneducated and poor people maintain their livelihood as a manual labour. Their children grew up malnourished, sickly and without any education following their parent’s footstep. It was a very sorrowful sight to see our own people being in such a situation. So keeping all these in view we, the members of Accelerate Assam Initiative are trying to help these marginalized children and community by every possible way. We work for the upliftment of poor and destitute children who are in greater need of basic education facilities and which in turn will provide them socio-economic independence and self sustainability. We also provide basic health services to the poor and needy children in remote areas where children are quickly affected and could not continue their formal education. We help the needy with full devotion, respect and love so as to empower them to a better individual by providing a path from poverty to prosperity. These small help will in turn be beneficial to the society as a whole. WORKING AREAS
(A) EDUCATION
“The foundation of every state is the education of its youth”
Our objective is to empower the poor and needy children and community to break the cycle of poverty where poverty originates problems of malnourishment and mortality. And lack of education among the children folk makes them to follow the way traced by their parents many of who are maintaining their daily existence as a manual labour. We conceive that by arming the needy with education and employability skills is the best way to make them independent socially as well as economically; thus becoming responsible citizens of our society. We believe that education is every child’s right as well as need. Education enlarges a child’s view and confers the ability to earn a dependable livelihood. OBJECTIVES
• To provide education to the school children in government schools whose parents are day labourer or below poverty line people.
• To provide basic training according to our capabilities to earn a dependable livelihood to low literate youths.
• To motivate the poor children to go for school where going to school should be a normal activity. To be without illness is the greatest blessing.”
